Zusammenfassung

In meiner Dissertation befasse ich mich mit der Analyse und Gestaltung gesundheitsförderlichen Führungsverhaltens. Im Rahmen des Projektes Work Smarter not Harder und Leistungsdruck auf die Leistung und das Wohlbefinden von sowohl Führungskräften als auch Mitarbeitenden aus? Zur Beantwortung dieser Fragestellungen sind Felduntersuchungen in Form von Tagebuchbefragungen geplant.

Abstract

The main focus of my thesis is the analysis and design of health-promoting leadership. Within the project Work Smarter not Harder, I examine management-related determinants of time and performance pressure in service occupations. Main research questions are: (1) What is the relationship between leadership behavior (e.g. delegation) and the emergence of time and performance pressure? (2) Is this relationship moderated by work-related variables (e.g. job characteristics) or personal characteristics (e.g. affectivity, personality)? (3) How does self-reported time and performance pressure affect performance as well as well-being of both leaders and employees? To answer these research questions, field studies in the form of diary surveys are planned
